Jayme and Jamie’s wedding day at Kalico Creek was one of those days that perfectly remind me why I love wedding photography so much. From the quiet getting-ready moments to the laughter, happy tears, and celebration with family and friends, their day was full of genuine emotion and beautiful moments that were such a joy to capture.

Kalico Creek made the perfect backdrop for their wedding day. The natural scenery, peaceful setting, and warm atmosphere created such a romantic and relaxed environment for their ceremony and portraits. It was the kind of venue that allows couples to really be present and enjoy every moment of their day.

One of my favorite parts of the day was watching Jayme and Jamie together. They have such a natural connection — the kind where you can see how comfortable and happy they are just being around each other. Those are always the moments I try to capture the most: the in-between moments, the laughs, the looks, the quiet smiles. Those are the photos that tell the real story of a wedding day.

Their ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, surrounded by family and friends who were clearly so excited to celebrate them. After the ceremony, we captured family portraits and then spent some time taking couple portraits around the property, and the lighting that evening was absolutely perfect.

The reception was full of energy, laughter, and dancing — the perfect way to end such a wonderful day. It was clear how loved these two are by everyone around them.
