Some wedding days feel like they could leap straight off the pages of a modern fairytale — full of bold blooms, tender moments, and infectious joy.

Mikaela & Ethan’s wedding at Arrowwood Weddings + Events in Palmer, TX, was exactly that. From the heartfelt getting ready moments to their magical sparkler exit, every part of the day radiated love and personality.

The day began quietly, with Mikaela surrounded by generations of women who adore her — her mother and grandmother each helping her into her gown with such love and pride.

These moments upstairs in the bridal suite were filled with soft light and quiet smiles, the kind of in-between time that makes a wedding day so personal.

Downstairs, Ethan was getting ready with his groomsmen. His face lit up the moment he saw Mikaela coming down the aisle — that smile stayed with him all day.

Their ceremony was a beautiful expression of their love and faith, set beneath a lush floral arch with colors that perfectly reflected the joy of the occasion. The summer sun filtered through the trees, catching the shimmer of Mikaela’s veil and adding an ethereal glow to the moment.

After the “I do’s” came some of my favorite portraits of the entire day: the newly married couple laughing and holding each other close in the gardens at Arrowwood. Mikaela’s stunning bouquet — rich with burgundy, blush, and blue — popped against the greenery and set the tone for a wedding full of vibrant color.

Inside the reception space, cascading florals and twinkling lights transformed Arrowwood’s venue into a romantic garden party.

Their cake was a show-stopper: painted florals with a custom gold topper — the kind of statement piece that makes guests pause and admire.

Later that evening, Mikaela & Ethan shared their first dance beneath draped florals and string lights, lost in the moment as their friends and family looked on.

The night ended with a lively sparkler exit — cheers, laughter, and one final celebration of a day that was already unforgettable.

Weddings like this remind me why I love what I do. The love Mikaela & Ethan share is genuine and joyful, and the way their family and friends surrounded them made this wedding a dream to capture.

Congratulations again, Mikaela & Ethan — you two are truly amazing together!
